The Loft in Bramhope was a design only project with Punch Taverns. This was a unique development, taking a disused loft space at the Fox and Hounds public house, and converting it into a morning coffee, light bites and evening entertainment venue.

The development required the whole roof level to be lifted so that the required head room could be achieved, but we also had to form two new gable ends, one for a new designated entrance from the car park and external drinking area, and one to create the internal link with the ground floor toilets and bar area. The brief was to reuse as many of the existing features as possible, and luckily we managed to retain and reuse all of the existing timber beams. The bar counter had to be carefully designed so it could be a self sufficient, with its own salad fridge, jacket potato machine, toastie machine, griddle, glass washer, ice machine etc. This was a huge challenge given the overall size of the bar counter.

The warm and contemporary design of the space is a total contrast to the ground floor bar which retains its traditional style. The space offers a relaxing and friendly atmosphere, both through out the day and evening time.
